It is a Zenday!

Zen is intuitive understanding. Words and sentences have no fixed meaning, and logic is often out of picture.

It is impossible to describe "what is" accurately, so I never take anyone or anything (including myself) as a final truth. Everything is fleeting. Everything is being created as we speak, how it can be fixed?

I attain bits and pieces of "myself" and "what is", on my path to somewhere.

Always remember you're unique, just like everyone else.

It may be that your sole purpose in life is simply to serve as a warning to others. Don't make a big fuss out of your life.

If you tell the truth, you don't have to remember anything. It might be not the absolute truth, but who knows what is anyway.

Good judgment comes from bad experience, and a lot of that comes from bad judgment.

"Your life will change. That's for sure. But it won't get any better and it won't get any worse. How can you compare now to the past? What do you know about the past? You don't have a clue! You have no idea at all what yesterday was really like, let alone last week or ten years ago. The future? Forget about it...

We take the colors of mind to be much more than they are. But our thoughts are only thoughts. They go just so far and then stop. All of them, even the most urgent, the most violent, the most sexy, the most profound. They just go a little way and then peter out. Poof!

And, just by the way here, when you see that everyone is you and you are everyone, you'll also come to understand that everyone in the world is just as dumb as you are. This will alleviate a lot of the stress you feel. It's hard to worry what other people might think when you realize their thoughts are just as dopey and meaningless as yours.

Conformity

Social conformity does indeed alters the perception of reality. :-)

Am I Awake?

What is luck? .. If we are ready, it happens .. just like in a fairytale ... Basically we always get what we need at every and each moment ... Luck is a domain of those who are not awake.

Yep, sometimes we get lucky :-)

Moments of reality

What does it mean to be free? To be free, just come back. Back from where you are now. And you are in your thoughts. And when you are in them, you do not live, you dream.

You are non-living when you think about the past or dream about the future. Neither the past nor the future exists at this moment. But you still are then and there rather than here and now.

What happens now, at this moment, gives the joy of life, creativity, internal flight and freedom. Nothing, except you and present. Who you were yesterday or who you’ll be tomorrow is not the same who you are now. The present you - is unique.

When you are here and now, you become “I”. You have no past, which you can deter. And you have no future, which may frighten you.

Do you know when we are going to experience here and now fully and feel the bliss? When we die. Until that point - we do not live. But at that moment, before we go away, for one moment we feel a real, live life and understand how much we have lost.

Until then, grab any moment you can and experience the fullness of life, there is nothing else, just those moments, the rest is a dream of our mind.

Destiny --- Free Will

I would like to add my own thoughts on changing/choosing the environment factor, which he suggests is the only cause that human can exercise to create a desired effect. I'll write about it next time.

Choosing the right friends or reading the right books?

How would one choose the right friend? What would be the correct criteria? Whatever we consider right at that moment would define our criteria. And what we consider right at a certain moment depends on events that have occurred before, basically, it is an accumulated knowledge up to the moment. It is not an absolute knowledge; it is relevant to each person.

As per choosing the right books, the majority of people are not even interested in reading books. This criterion is predetermined by birth.

Intelligence is something that people are born with.

We are back to where we started; even choosing the friends and books is something that is not up to us.

Is there anything that is up to ‘I’? Who is ‘I’? This is a whole different topic. For now let’s get back to destiny.

"Destiny refers to a predetermined course of events. It may be conceived as a future, whether in general or of an individual. It is a concept based on the belief that there is a fixed natural order to the universe.”

In destiny there is nothing random, there is no choice because, by definition, it is all preordained. Can one call a choice a real choice (free will) if it is predetermined by destiny (cause and effect)!

People interpret ‘free will’ in amazingly different ways, all depending on their level of understanding.

“Free will” is a notion that people experience when they have to make some decisions.

Brain chemistry and accumulated experiences of our life determine all choices we make, while letting us think we made some decision, when the truth is, we never would have made any other. One will have a definite set of options that is created by previous events, but only one choice will be made and even that choice is already predetermined.

How would I define a real choice or “free will”? If you have an absolute knowledge of everything that exists, you’d have an indefinite set of choices. INDEFINITE, that is endless! This is what I consider a real choice - free will! :-)
